Freelance Accountants Harrow is a matching and referral service only. We do not provide financial advice, tax advice, accounting services, or any regulated financial services.

Specifically, we do not:

• Prepare, review, or file tax returns
• Provide IR35 status determinations or assessments
• Give advice on Self Assessment, VAT, or National Insurance
• Act as your agent with HMRC in any capacity
• Provide legal, financial, investment, or regulated advice of any kind

All accountancy services and advice are provided exclusively by the independent, certified professionals within our network. Each accountant is a separate, independent business operating under their own professional obligations, not as our employee or agent.

Nothing on this website constitutes professional advice. Blog articles, guides, and service descriptions are provided for general informational purposes only. Tax law changes frequently — always verify current rules with a qualified professional or directly with HMRC.

3. Our Matching Service

Our service consists of:

• Receiving your enquiry and understanding your requirements
• Identifying up to three accountants from our vetted network who match your needs
• Making an introduction so you can evaluate those accountants independently

Any engagement, contract, fees, or professional relationship that follows is entirely between you and the accountant. We are not a party to that engagement.

4. Our Vetting Process

We apply a multi-stage vetting process before admitting accountants to our network, including qualification verification, HMRC agent registration, IR35 competency, and professional indemnity checks. Details are on our About page.

However, our vetting process is not a guarantee of quality, suitability, or conduct in any specific engagement. We carry out checks at admission and annually, but cannot monitor day-to-day professional conduct. You should conduct your own due diligence before engaging any accountant.

5. Your Obligations

• Provide accurate and complete information in your enquiry
• Be the individual or authorised representative making the enquiry
• Not submit enquiries on behalf of others without their consent
• Not use our service for any unlawful purpose
• Treat accountants introduced through our service professionally

6. Our Fees

Our matching service is entirely free to you. We receive a small fixed referral fee from accountants when a successful engagement is confirmed. This fee is paid by the accountant and does not affect the fees they charge you.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freelance Accountants Harrow excludes all liability for:

• Any loss arising from your engagement with an accountant introduced through our service
• Any professional negligence, errors, or omissions by any accountant in our network
• Any tax penalties, interest, or HMRC action arising from advice by a referred accountant
• Any inaccuracies in the general information provided on this website
• Any indirect, consequential, or financial loss from use of our website or service

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of our free matching service shall not exceed £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Complaints About Network Accountants

Raise complaints directly with the accountant first. All network accountants are members of a recognised professional body (ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA), each of which has an independent complaints procedure.

You may also notify us at complaints@freelanceaccountantharrow.co.uk. Substantiated complaints may result in an accountant being removed from our network, but we cannot adjudicate professional disputes on your behalf.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is the property of Freelance Accountants Harrow or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
